    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    • Perform required clerical tasks to continue business operations in the assigned department/client location.  Role collaborates within the group as well as across other groups to gain required information to complete tasks.

    Essential Duties:        (This list is not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned)

    • Performing basic clerical tasks, such as: scheduling, meeting coordination, note-taking activities, emailing, answering phones, customer service, printing and filing; creation, maintenance, and delivery of documents and reports, data entry, communication, budget related processes, special event coordination and setup including events at other facilities, etc.
    • Operating standard office equipment (phone, computer, copier, etc.).
    • Department research, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
    • Provide daily invoice processing support to the Accounts Payable (AP) function in the Finance department. 
    • Support for daily processing, supplied account reconciliations, error resolution, supplier & Purchasing function communication, and daily invoice status monitoring and reporting. 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:    

    • 3+ years of experience in AP processing
    • Ability to work in a multinational team environment.
    • Recent experience using Microsoft Office suite of tools
    • Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint skills.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skill.

    Preferred: 

    • Experience with  Procure to Pay Processes
    • Experience with invoice accrual process
    • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Experience with AP controls, Procurement cards, Sales & Use tax, foreign currency transactions, and AP best practices. 
    • Experience in a large automotive, manufacturing or R&D company
    • Experience with scanning & Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tools
    • Experience with SAP software product and AP functionality

    Physical Demands:   

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This job is primarily sedentary.
