Position Summary:

The HR Intern will support the recruiting and HR departments by providing administrative support. This role will also assist the recruiting and HR teams in providing excellent service to our management team, candidates, and associates


Essential Duties:

  • File and database maintenance and management 
  • Develop reference and process materials
  • Conduct recruitment support tasks such as: resume preparation, candidate contact, email campaigns, candidate scheduling, candidate and search documentation, candidate hosting, report creation and dissemination, etc.
  • Support HR processes such as open enrollment, immigration, scheduling meetings, report creation and dissemination, etc.


  • Rising junior or senior pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline and 1 previous internship required.
  • Experience with recent recruiting and HR practices preferred.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle highly sensitive and confidential information required.
  • Experience working with minimal supervision in both a team-oriented and individual capacity preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing computer applications (Word, Excel) required.
  • Excellent proofreading, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and manage external relationships. 
  • Ability to travel locally to client sites (within Columbus and surrounding areas).


Physical Demands:   


This is a largely sedentary role.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear or read. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
